Our Sole Mats are all covered with Organic cotton fabric. Mats will arrive slightly larger to allow for shrinkage after machine wash and dry. Once it is washed and dried the cotton will shrink, which results in the mat becoming puffier and thicker overall.

Inside they contain 3 layers of supreme cotton batting. At this time we use conventional cotton batting, as high quality organic batting is not available. Still, only the outer organic fabric will be in contact with your dog. The batting will not bottom out like typical polyester filling; rather it provides thick, comfortable and cozy padding. 

Please note, for Sole Mats in larger sizes the batting is heavy when wet. Be sure your washing machine is up to this, or consider using a commercial machine.
