Far Infrared Dog Blanket - How It's Made
Materials:
The upper fabric of Recovery Blanket is wool-mix. Wool is 100% natural material made from sheep wool. It’s sustainable and biodegradable fiber. Wool has properties unlike any man made material. Wool adapts to changes in the carriers body temperature. It has great warming qualities on cold weather, yet it’s comfortable also when it’s warm. It has great moisture-wicking capacity. Wool is warm also when it’s wet, and thanks to natural antibacterial properties it fights back odors. Wool is self-cleansing needing less washing. Mixing wool with a bit of synthetics gives the fabric soft feeling and even better durability. Acrylic is lightweight, soft, and warm material with a wool-like feel. It’s ideal blend with wool. It has very good shape retention, quick dry qualities, it’s durable and easy to take care of.
On the other side of the blanket there is Far infrared (FIR) emitting fabric. This unique fabric captures your pet’s body heat and re-emits FIR energy back. FIR consists of short electromagnetic waves that are able to penetrate into tissues, having biological effects such as accelerating recovery of muscles after exercise, increasing the blood flow and the lymphatic circulation, decreasing pain, inflammation and oxidative stress.
